Elstree Studios have a long and illustrious history of filmmaking. The Studios very long history of making successful films ranges from Hitchcock's first talkie Blackmail, Lucas' Star Wars Trilogy to Kubrick's Lolita and The Shining and Spielberg's Indiana Jones Trilogy.

More recently Derailed, Notes on a Scandal, Amazing Grace, The Other Boleyn Girl and 1408 have all used our Studio facilities.

Rick McCallum, producer of Star Wars said, "We were thrilled to have the opportunity to return to Elstree Studios and to once again work with Britain's great technicians. In truth, for us all stages are pretty much the same. What distinguishes one studio from another is the people who run it.
