Thanks to an advertising campaign in a number of local papers and magazines, Elstree Studios has bucked the recession-hit corporate party market and has this year been able to secure more Christmas parties than ever before in the Studios recently refurbished Event Hall.
Laura Palmer from Elstree Studios who is organising the events said that the strategy of shared party nights has been an enormous success. “In addition we have Barmitzvahs, children’s parties, quiz nights, wedding receptions and book launches all using the Studios catering and events facilities. Its part of our commitment to use the Studios for more community events now the Event Hall has been refurbished” says Palmer.

Feature films currently at the Studios include The Kings Speech (featuring Geoffrey Rush and Colin Firth) and horror film Devil’s Playground (featuring Danny Dyer). Celebrity Big Brother and Dancing on Ice have returned to Elstree, both of which air in the New Year.
